We carry on the work of the late Professor Fred Hollows (1929-1993). Fred was an eye doctor, a skilled surgeon of international renown, a champion of the right of all people to good health and a strong advocate for social justice.

Our Achievements - Arrow

We are now providing essential eye care throughout the Pacific region and have recently established a regional eye health training centre, the Pacific Eye Institute. As a result, the number and quality of eye care professionals as has sight restoring operations, community eyecare and and eye screening.
