Gift in Tribute

Making a donation to The Fred Hollows Foundation in memory of a loved one or friend is a continuing and meaningful tribute and ensures their memory lives on to help others.  

Every five seconds another person goes blind, yet 75% of the world's blindness is avoidable. The operation to remove a cataract affected lens from the eye of a blind patient and to replace it with a clear plastic lens (intraocular lens), can take just twenty minutes and can cost as little as $25.

A gift in memory is a special and last tribute to someone you have loved and respected. Your gift not only honours a life, it helps bring the gift of sight to someone blinded by poverty alone.  

When you make a gift in memory to The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ you can elect to have The Foundation notify the next of kin on your behalf. The Foundation will also provide you with a tax deductible receipt.
