Golfing to save sight

Geoff Hoar

You don’t have to run jet-ski around the world to support us. Geoff Hoar from New Plymouth has come up with an innovative way to raise money by using his love of golf as a way to raise money for the charity.

“I chose The Fred Hollows Foundation because I have had impaired sight and appreciate the difficulties of having less than 20/20 vision. It’s a great cause and very inspirational work that I would like to be involved in. My idea is to combine my love of golf with support for charity work.”

For every hole that he plays, Geoff contributes a small amount to the Foundation.
Fortunately for us, Geoff plays a lot of golf and is encouraging others to support his goal.
