Recent Outreach saw an impressive 1,124 patients seen by eye doctors in a week

At the beginning of July 2019 our team in Madang held a successful Outreach in Mount Hagen, the capital of the Western Highlands Province in Papua New Guinea.

They were joined by local eye doctor Dr Wahamu and by Dr Mundi Qalo and Dr John Szetu, both from Solomon Islands.

During the week-long Outreach the combined team saw an incredible 1,124 patients in need of eye care services. On top of this they also performed 201 sight-saving surgeries.
