Auckland Marathon 2022

Support the Fred Hollows Foundation NZ in the 2022 Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon - New Zealand’s biggest, most iconic, colourful, cultural running celebration. With five race distances, there is something for everyone. Choose from a 2.2km kids marathon through to a full marathon course and run the city your way. 

As you cross the closed off Harbour Bridge, you can imagine all the people whose sight your hard work and donations will help to restore.

Last year, Trust Karumbidza ran the Auckland Marathon for us and raised $1,500. "Sweating for restoring eyesight was worth it. It was a tough run but was definitely worth the cause," said Trust.

Charity Superstars

We have 30 places available for Charity Superstars who are willing to go the extra mile and commit to a minimum fundraising amount. In exchange, they will receive free race entry, a Team Fred race shirt, and a souvenir Charity Superstar medal.
