When Philomena was born with cataracts in both eyes, her mum, Ana, became worried for her baby’s future. At best, Philomena would be able to see light.

Thanks to the support of people like you, little Philomena had sight-restoring surgery at a Foundation-supported Children’s Outreach. Having her sight restored helped fulfil Philomena’s greatest wish – to see her mum’s face for the very first time.

When the bandages were removed, she whispered, “My eyes are magic now.”
